‘The Narrow Gauge’ Magazine Index                                                                                Ken Scanes

Every so often, researching something narrow gauge related, I just know there was an article on the subject somewhere in The Narrow Gauge magazine but I can’t remember where. So over time I created this index of articles to help me. It is essentially a list of article titles with keywords added to aid searching.

It covers The Narrow Gauge and Narrow Gauge Illustrated magazines from issues 37 to (currently) 248. Why start at 37? That was the issue where a “proper” printed magazine replaced the previous low circulation duplicated publication and pragmatically it is where my collection starts. (See NG173 page 41 for the history of the magazine.)

I’ve also included significant articles in the short lived Narrow Gauge Times and the even shorter lived Railway Times as it has some narrow gauge interest. Purely for completeness I have also included Standard Gauge Times.
